We offer free shipping within the contiguous United States. For certain isolated locations (such as remote islands), additional shipping fees may apply—please contact our customer service team for a quote. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, or international locations.
Mihodo is based in Florida and is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to Florida, New Jersey, and California. Orders shipped to other U.S. states are not subject to sales tax at this time. Please note that tax collection requirements may change as regulations evolve, and any applicable taxes will always be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Mihodo covers all tariffs and import fees behind the scenes, so you will not be billed for these costs.
You will receive a confirmation email after placing your order. We pre-authorize your payment and verify availability before finalizing the order. If an item is on backorder or unavailable, we will cancel the pre-authorization and notify you by email. If the item is in stock, we will charge your payment method and your order will proceed to shipment.
For in-stock items, orders typically ship within 1–3 business days after payment is processed. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees, and may change due to local conditions (including weather or other unforeseen circumstances). Tracking information will be sent to the email address provided within 24 hours of dispatch. You may also check the status on our self-service tracking page or by clicking the chat icon in the lower-right corner to open the Mihodo Assistant. If tracking information has not been received within six business days, please contact us at cs@mihodo.com.
Direct European Shipments (Ideavit, Horganica, Rain Therapy): In-stock items ship from Europe and generally arrive within 7–10 days. Most Ideavit products are stocked in the Netherlands and follow this timeframe. Ideavit bathtubs and oversized wall-mounted washbasins arrive within 6–8 weeks. Horganica items are made to order and arrive within 3–4 weeks. Rain Therapy products vary by finish and arrive within 1–6 weeks.
Vanderloc: Vanderloc vanities and storage cabinets require a 21-day build time before shipping. Transit typically requires 2–5 business days within the contiguous United States.
Large items such as vanities, tubs, and toilets ship via standard freight with curbside delivery. For liability reasons, freight carriers cannot deliver to driveways, garages, inside the home, or any private areas beyond the curb.
Freight Rerouting Fees: For freight shipments, please ensure your shipping address is accurate and accessible at the time of purchase. If a carrier must reroute due to an incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible address, rerouting fees of up to $500 may apply. This cost is the customer’s responsibility and will be deducted from any applicable refund or billed directly if delivery is still pending.
Delivery Presence: For all large items such as vanities and tubs, as well as all direct European shipments (Ideavit, Horganica, Rain Therapy), an authorized adult (18+) must be present at the delivery address to sign for the delivery receipt.
LTL Shipments: The carrier will contact you when your item arrives at the local terminal to schedule a delivery appointment. Please allow a five-hour delivery window.
We strongly recommend making arrangements in advance to move the unit into the property after curbside drop-off.
We make every effort to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, but issues can arise. To assist you effectively, please inspect your item promptly and document any concerns thoroughly.
Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to inspect the packaging before signing the delivery receipt. Do not sign until you have checked the shipment for any signs of visible damage. Carriers have strict time limits for reporting damage, and once those windows close, we may no longer be able to assist—even if the issue occurred during transit.
Before opening the package, take clear photos of the exterior and retain all packaging materials, including the pallet if one was used. If there is visible damage to the packaging or item, you must note this on the delivery receipt, take photos, and email the images and a brief description to cs@mihodo.com within 24 hours.
Please note: writing “subject to inspection” on the delivery receipt does not protect your claim. If the item appears damaged, you have the right to refuse delivery. In that case, write “refused due to shipping damages” on the receipt and contact us within 24 hours so we can arrange a replacement.
If damage is discovered after delivery and the packaging appeared intact (concealed damage), it must still be reported within 24 hours. Be sure to include photos of both the product and the packaging. Delayed reporting may prevent us from filing a claim or providing assistance.
Please be aware that we do not assume financial responsibility for unexpected delays or coordination with contractors (e.g., plumbers, electricians). We strongly recommend scheduling any contractors only after you have received and inspected your product. In the event of unforeseen delays beyond our control, we will work with you to resolve the issue to the best of our ability.
We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages beyond the original purchase amount.
