We want you to feel confident when purchasing from Mihodo. The following policy is designed to be clear, fair, and aligned with the realities of premium and often made-to-order products. If an issue arises, you can expect responsive communication and a thoughtful, professional resolution.
You may request to cancel or modify your order before it ships. Once an order is processed for shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled and will be subject to the standard return policy, including applicable restocking and shipping fees.
For custom, made-to-order, and direct European import products, cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of placing the order to avoid penalty. After this period, cancellation is evaluated case by case based on production status and may result in charges for costs already incurred.
Please review your order carefully before submitting. Contact us immediately if you need to request a change or cancellation.
Hygienic Products: Due to the hygienic nature of these items, opened bidet toilet seats and integrated bidet toilets are final sale. Returns of opened merchandise are not accepted. Manufacturer warranties apply in cases of damage or defects.
Direct European Imports (Ideavit, Horganica, Rain Therapy): Sales of European imports are final and non-returnable, except in cases of damage, defect, or an incorrect item being delivered.
Returns or exchanges for unopened bidets and other non-hygienic products are accepted within 30 days of the shipment date. To be eligible, the item must be unused, uninstalled, and unmodified, and returned in its complete and undamaged original packaging, including all internal supports, documentation, and accessories.
Important Note for Vanities: Because vanities are palletized for protection, the original packaging requirement includes the original box(es) and the pallet used for delivery. The customer is responsible for repackaging the vanity in its original box(es) and securing it to the original pallet for return shipment. Returns of vanities not in their complete original packaging, including the pallet, will not be accepted and will be ineligible for credit.
Vanderloc Returns: Returns for Vanderloc products must be requested within 15 days of delivery. Because each piece is custom-built to your specifications, returns are limited and must follow the standard return conditions outlined in this policy. If your vanity arrives damaged or does not match your order, we will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
For returns not caused by a defect or our error (“buyer’s remorse” returns), a 20% restocking fee will apply. Shipping costs for large and heavy items such as bathroom vanities are substantial; therefore, the original outbound shipping cost is non-refundable, even if your order qualified for free shipping. These costs, along with the restocking fee and return shipping charges, will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing; your financial institution may require additional time to post funds.
Return Authorization Required: To initiate a return, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). A return address will be provided upon approval of your request. Returns sent without an RMA, or sent to any address other than the designated return address, will not be accepted and will be refused.
