Bidet Seat FAQ

A bidet seat looks like most toilet seats except it has integrated wands with nozzles that spray water to cleanse your private areas.

Contemporary bidet toilet seats have wands that are housed inside the rear of the seat. These wands have nozzles built into them that spray water. The wands deploy when activated and retract at the end of their cycle. Some of the higher-end models have a self cleaning feature for the wand.

Bidet seats attach to the fresh water line running to the toilet tank with a flexible hose. The water supplied is not from the toilet. Some bidet seats supply warm water but usually require an electrical outlet nearby.

The bidet seat wands do not touch you. The wands only spray water that touches you.

Most bidet seats require a GFCI outlet be near the toilet for power. A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet is a special type of circuit breaker that can automatically shut off power directly at the outlet when it detects an electrical fault.

The visual difference between the two is noticeable because the elongated version is about 2” longer than the round version. To be technical, for a round bowl, the distance from the two mounting bolts (of the seat hinges) to the very front of the toilet bowl is about 16 ½”. For an elongated bowl, the distance is about 2” longer, which is about 18.5”.

Integrated Toilets FAQ

An integrated toilet, also known as a bidet toilet, smart toilet, or Japanese style toilet, are toilets that have the bidet unit engineered into their design. Most of these units have a contemporary, skirted design and most often incorporate high-end features not found on most bidet seats.

Integrated toilets require a GFCI outlet be near the toilet for power. A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet is a special type of circuit breaker that can automatically shut off power directly at the outlet when it detects an electrical fault.

Bathroom Vanities FAQ

LaViva vanities come pre-drilled with a single hole faucet mount. You may request to have additional faucets holes drilled at no additional cost. LaViva is able to drill 4-inch Center Sets and 8-inch widespreads. LaViva cannot drill additional holes in their Ceramic Basin and 30” Pure White Phoenix Stone.

Please note that this adds 1-2 weeks to delivery.

To request additional faucet holes, simply include your preferences in the "Order Notes" section of the cart. A member of our team will review your request and contact you to confirm the details before processing your order.

Natural stones, such as marble, granite, and quartzite are unique in their color, pattern, and texture. Variations are part of their natural beauty and can occur due to factors like the stone's origin, lighting in the photos, and even the way it's cut. While we strive to provide accurate representations, please expect some differences between the product images and the actual stone you receive. If you have specific concerns, feel free to reach out to us.

Backsplashes are handled differently by various manufacturers. For example, Belleterra Home does not include backsplashes with their vanities, so you would need to purchase the matching backsplash separately. On the other hand, LaViva includes backsplashes with all countertop styles, except for Solid Surface and Ceramic Basins, for which backsplashes are not available.
